Accra has appointed Colin Raymond to succeed John Dahm as Chief Executive Officer.
MINNETONKA, Minn. – June 9, 2025 – Accra, a home care provider that offers individualized services to people with disabilities and older adults across Minnesota, has appointed Colin Raymond to succeed John Dahm as Chief Executive Officer.
"I am eager to begin my role as Chief Executive Officer at Accra, an organization that has already contributed so much to so many in our communities,” Raymond said. “I look forward to working alongside Accra’s executive leadership team to enhance personalized care for Minnesotans at home. I want to thank John for hiswarm welcome and the entire Senior Leadership Team for their commitment to co-create the next chapter in Accra’s already stellar history.”
As the Chief Executive Officer, Raymond will collaborate with leadership to address all operational and strategic issues.
Raymond is a leader whose people-centric approach has unlocked potential at every level of the organizations he has served. His deep commitment to the underserved stems from observing huge gaps in the care delivery system, many of which can be filled with the home care services that Accra offers.
Most recently at U.S. Renal Care, Raymond served as Regional Vice President while leading teams of caregivers to deliver life-sustaining therapy to over 4,000 End Stage Renal Disease patients across three states. He was previously the National Director of Cardiology and Imaging Operations at ChenMed, a Regional Operations Director at DaVita KidneyCare, and served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer.
John Dahm, who has served as Accra’s CEO since 2011 and worked at Accra for more than 20 years, will become Accra’s Executive Chairman and serve in an advisory role to the executive leadership team.
“Serving individuals whose everyday experiences differ greatly from mine has been a true honor,” Dahm said. “Whether enhancing a service or empowering exceptional individuals, connecting with people at their level has proven essential for advancing Accra's mission and fulfilling the needs of the people we serve.”
Under his leadership, Accra helped transform the homecare industry in Minnesota to meet the ever-evolving needs of Medicaid enrollees better. John has created processes that make it easier to access services and set a strategic vision to serve more communities, helping Accra fulfill its mission of improving lives by providing individualized home care services and support to people living at home.
