MINNETONKA, Minn. – March 29, 2021 – Accra, Minnesota’s largest provider of homecare services, has promoted Susan Morgan to Chief Operating Officer. Morgan will assume increased responsibility for operational performance and the overall client and caregiver experience.
Over more than a decade at Accra, Morgan has served in several roles, including Program Director, Chief Compliance Officer and most recently, Chief Program Officer. She has implemented numerous changes from regulatory agencies and overseen operations of all Accra programs and their assigned program directors. Accra’s variety of programs includes PCA Choice, Financial Management Services, 245D Waivered Programs, Home Health Care, Assisted Living and Mental Health Services.
“Susan’s leadership is critical to Accra’s ability to deliver exceptional homecare services in every county across Minnesota,” said John Dahm, Accra’s president and chief executive officer. “With her operational expertise and unique understanding of the homecare experience, Susan is well equipped to help guide Accra through future expansion of services and collaborations with new partners in the healthcare system.”
Morgan has extensive experience in a wide variety of healthcare fields. Before joining Accra, she spent nearly three decades working as Director of Nursing for Goodhue County Public Health, as a homecare nurse for Fairview Health Services, as well as various roles in long-term care and within hospital systems.

She is an active member or board member for several homecare industry organizations, including the Minnesota Home Care Association, the Minnesota Department of Health Home Care and Assisted Living Program Advisory Council, and LeadingAge Minnesota.
For 30 years, Accra has improved the lives of Minnesotans by providing individualized homecare services to people with disabilities and older adults, most of whom are Medicaid enrollees.
Accra is a nonprofit organization that operates in all counties throughout Minnesota and has offices across the state, providing a familiar presence in local communities. Accra’s self-directed services support the independence of children, adolescents and adults with disabilities, chronic diseases, behavioral diagnoses and mental illnesses, who need assistance with personal care in the home and activities of daily living.
